“I’m happy to hear about the CMB Foundation!” exclaimed Dr. Yosef Haik, Head of Sheba Hospital Burn Unit in Tel Aviv. as we told him about our newsletter, website, and our efforts to start an ongoing Trauma Therapy Burn Support Group. Dr. Haik said that even Sheba Hospital does not have such a Support Group. When Israel was suffering from frequent terrorist attacks, Sheba’s Burn Unit invited previous burn victims to cvisit and support to the new patients. Sheba treats over 200 burn patients a year, and 50% are children. |
